Jacolby Satterwhite Dances with His Self | Art21 "New York Close Up"

Jacolby Satterwhite builds animated worlds from personal material, including his mother’s drawings, then brings their characters into New York’s streets. Art21 follows a practice in which family memory, performance and digital transformation become resources for imagining and presenting different versions of the self.
